I have recently graduated university after studying Mechanical Engineering (MEng) at University College London (UCL), and now work as a mechanical engineer at Stantec.

I like to explore how intelligent and informed engineering and design improves products and services for both the consumer and provider. With this mindset I create innovative products and designs which explore how technology can improve everyday life. 

My degree allows me to implement this ideology in a variety of disciplines, and I have been lucky to work across multiple departments and study a variety of topics, from machine learning and artificial intelligence, to product design, to finances of large scale engineering projects. I now also work in the water sector designing and implementing new plants in water treatment works.

I have also freelanced as a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Consultant, and have worked long-term with multi-national corporate clients to improve the experiences of minorities in the workplace. This has included developing an action plan for leadership to demonstrate quantifiable increases in D&I in their department, as well as creating bespoke events to promote conversations surrounding D&I in the workplace.

Outside of work, I am an avid ultimate frisbee player, having played for 4 years in UCL's first team (open division), with my team highlight being achieving bronze in University Nationals 2023. I have given back to this community by being active in volunteering projects run by the club (we've done everything from teaching school children the sport to fundraising through charity tournaments), and joining the club committee for 2 years, first as the club treasurer, and then as the club president. I now play semi regularly with friends, entering occasional tournaments.
